Treatment Details

Firstly, the area to be treated will be cleaned and prepped with an alcohol based cleanser to ensure it is sterile. Then, there will be a number of small injections to the area, which can be mildly uncomfortable. It is expected that you will start to see the effect of the treatment at around 10 days.

How often can I get fat dissolving injections? It is recommended that you can have the injections over the course of 4 – 6 weeks at weekly intervals. Ultimately, the number of sessions you need is dependent on the area needing treatment.

How Does it Work?

Fat dissolving injections are a non-surgical which use injections to dissolve and therefore improve the appearance of pockets of fat beneath the skin.

The treatment involves ‘mapping’ the submental area to determine the precise number of injection sites required for your individual treatment. Then, a series of injections are then administered. Notably, the fat dissolving compound will break down the fat over the course of the next 4-6 weeks. 

In other words, a minimum of four treatments are recommended for optimal results.
