Treatment Details
During the treatment a pen like device causes tiny burns to the skin, this micro trauma initiates the skins healing response. Don’t worry though I will apply numbing cream to the area that is to be treated, as a result this treatment is only mildly uncomfortable.

How Does it Work?
Young, elastic skin depends on the number of structural proteins such as collagen and elastin. We naturally loose these as we age. These proteins help your skin to bounce back after temporary changes such as stretching, folding or wrinkling. Due to age, our bodies produce less of these structural proteins, making our skin more prone to show signs of ageing, such as fine lines and wrinkles. This leads to our skin not being able to bounce back!
A mild superficial controlled burn causes a skin tightening effect. This occurs because a targeted irritation, stimulates the skin’s restoration response. As a result the skin heals firmer and tighter, therefore there is a reduction in the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
