Here at Bella Beauty Aesthetics, a Derma Pen is used rather than a Dermaroller. This is more comfortable than the Dermaroller as the punctures it makes in the skin are more precise and therefore cause less trauma, minimizing healing time. We also use a topical anaesthetic to numb the area to be treated, so you should not experience any pain during the treatment.

How Does it Work?

Microneedling works by causing micro-trauma to the skin, which in turn encourages healing and therefore improved skin texture, tone and appearance, there are many benefits of this treatment.

It is normal to have some slight bleeding throughout the treatment, this is minimal and managed during the treatment by the practitioner. When you leave the clinic you will have some redness and slight swelling, your skin may feel hot, tingly and tight; this will all subside quickly with the redness lasting a few days.

How often can I have Microneedling? You can have microneedling every 4 – 6 weeks a course of 6 is recommended to achieve optimum results, however if you will notice improvements after one session if you choose this treatment as a one off. Packages are available at a reduced rate.
